WHY DOES FOOD COME OUT OF YOUR NOSE WHEN YOU LAUGH WHILE EATING?

The nose and the mouth are connected at the back of the throat, but the soft palate and uvula move upward and out of the way while eating, allowing food to slide down the throat and blocking the passage of air through the pharynx and out of the nose. While someone makes you laugh while swallowing, the exhaled air has to go somewhere; thus the soft palate and uvula move out of the way. allowing air –and food– up through the pharynx and out the nose.

[ayan... don't try to make someone laugh while swallowing, toooot!]

WHY DON’T WOMEN HAVE ADAMS APPLE?

[ako may adam's apple. dalawa pa nga e. hehehehe]

WHY ARE SOME PEOPLE SWEETER TO MOSQUITOES?

Different amounts of carbon dioxide released by humans act as a powerful attractant to the little bloodsuckers. Body heat, perfume and sebum, eccrine and apocrine - sweat, basically - also lure mosquitoes to a greater or lesser degree.

[bakit hindi applicable ito sa humans?]

WHY DO MEN FALL ASLEEP AFTER SEX?

Greater physical exertion leads to a depletion in the muscles of energy - producing glycogen, causing sleepiness; while greater frequency of orgasm in men leads to release of oxytin, prolactin, gamma amino butyric acid (GABA) and endorphins, causing men to feel rested, relaxed and craving unconsciousness.

[girls... now you know. ;) ]
